Astrology Reading

Through a psychological astrology lens, we can better understand your psychospiritual gifts and challenges by looking carefully at the placement of all of the planets in our solar system at the time of your birth and how they talk to each other through their geometrical aspects and alignments.

Your birth or natal chart is a geocentric snapshot of our solar system reflecting the moment you took your first breath on Earth. When most people think of astrology, they think purely of the sun sign, or the placement of the sun at the time of your birth. A birth chart is a map of the archetypal territory of your life and personality symbolized by all the major planets and points in the sky. Through a psychological astrology lens, we can better understand your psychospiritual gifts and challenges by looking carefully at the placement of all of the planets in our solar system at the time of your birth and how they talk to each other through their geometrical aspects and alignments.

An astrological reading is a tool to support your self-understanding and is not a replacement for therapy. As a therapist, it is important to me that your relationship to your birth chart or archetypal map is uniquely yours. It is critical that you do not view your birth chart or astrology practice through a linear cause-and-effect paradigm. An astrological birth chart does not tell you why you think, feel, and behave the way you do – it simply represents an energetic potential of how particular universal archetypes show up in your psyche and life. Looking at the ongoing transits of the planets and how they interact with your birth chart can reveal a sense of timing when certain gifts, insights, challenges, or paths are activated in your life’s journey.

Using your exact time, place, and date of birth, the rising or ascendant sign initiates the placement of planets and points in your astrological houses. Without the exact time of birth, we receive a less accurate picture of your astrological map. If you have never received an astrology reading before, I recommend a natal chart reading as a first step into exploring your archetypal potential.
