why I do this work

During difficult times, it can be helpful to find someone who provides a safe space for connection, support, and healing. I aim to create a place of comfort and compassion, free of judgment and nurturing with acceptance. My main priority is the quality of our relationship, building and deepening our connection while strengthening and empowering you to be your most healthy and authentic self.

Favorite place in Austin: Lake Austin

Favorite Saturday afternoon activity: Enjoying a sunny day on a patio with live music

Favorite animal: My English Bulldog

Favorite holiday: Dia de los Muertos

I feel happiest when: I’m traveling the world, immersed in different cultures and connecting with people

If I had a superpower it would be: To turn back time

The place I feel the most safe/calm/ and comfortable: Surrounded by all things nature

APPROACH TO THERAPY

I work from a collaborative, strength-based approach; assisting and supporting clients with tools and strategies that focus on increasing happiness and well-being. I consider a client’s strengths, capabilities, and potential very valuable in their journey towards change and achieving their goals.

Education

I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas and a Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of San Diego in San Diego, California.

PERSONAL

I was born and raised in Austin, Texas. (A unicorn!) When I am not working you can find me spending time with family and friends, enjoying live music, and loving every moment with my stubborn (but sweet) English Bulldog, Bowser.
