Hi, I'm Evelyn! I've always been drawn to supporting others—from mentoring children to coaching colleagues throughout my career. Today, as a mental health counseling intern, I offer a warm, compassionate space where you can explore life's challenges and journey toward healing at your own pace.

I see therapy as a space to discover oneself. A space to process thoughts and emotions. Experiences like conflict in relationships, generational trauma and grief take a toll on people and are felt in the body, but it also takes courage to seek help. As a therapist, I want to meet you where you are. Whether you are struggling through an issue or ready to lay out your emotional baggage, I want to journey alongside you as you seek healing. As a migrant from Southeast Asia, I understand what it is like to live with a hyphenated identity and find a place you could call your home. Having lived in other countries like China and travelled to other places, I can relate easily to different worldviews.

I offer a space where people can deconstruct the narratives they have held on to that may have resulted in inner turmoil and tension with yourself or loved ones. Working as a manager of a global team in my previous career, I offer a space for people to explore their career aspirations and interests. I have also expertise in offering neurodivergent-affirming care, having provided counseling services while working at a non-profit organization. I offer a warm, empathetic, person-centered and thoughtful space for you to engage in therapy. I will listen to your stories and journey with you to identify unhelpful thought patterns that have hindered your growth. I also see issues from a systemic lens and consider multiple aspects as you seek healing through your journey while integrating somatic modalities.

When I am not working, I like to cuddle up in a book (both fiction and non-fiction), play the piano, take a walk and spend quality time with my husband and three kids. I look forward to having the opportunity to journey alongside you.
