I was drawn to the therapy field after many years of witnessing both the deep desire for human connection and the ache of not feeling truly seen. In my prior bodywork practice, I watched people experience healing far beyond what I was intentionally offering. I began to understand, first-hand, how intimately the body and mind are connected—how the body holds stories, patterns, and wisdom, sometimes long before the mind is ready to name them.
I’m fascinated by the mystery of how we reconnect with those deeper truths. And for me, the first step in that process is remembering who we are beneath all of the layers that we’ve created to survive. Counseling feels like an invitation into deeper self-awareness; an exploration of meaning, embodiment, and the places where our inner and outer worlds are yet to align.
Throughout my own healing journey, I’ve learned to recognize the subtle, transformative moments when the body begins to soften after years of bracing, the quiet recognition of truth, the letting go, and the return of aliveness after numbness. I’m passionate about helping others find their own truth and aliveness, their reconnection to self, and their connection to others.
After many years of hands-on healing, I’ve come into the therapy world understanding that people don’t only want to feel better; they want to feel alive. They want to feel seen. They want to truly know themselves. I believe healing is cyclical, embodied, and deeply personal and that it’s an unfolding rather than a fixing.
Becoming a therapist felt like answering a call I’ve carried for years: to walk with people through these moments of awakening, to help them reconnect with their inner knowing, and to support the emergence of a self that feels grounded, honest, and ecstatically alive. As Ram Dass wrote, “We are all just walking each other home.”
My approach is warmly relational, collaborative, existential, and somatic. I trust that you carry your own wisdom, and my role is to help you access it—to walk with you as you heal, deepening your connection to self, your body, and the life you’re longing to live. Together, we’ll create a space where healing can unfold naturally and authentically.
