Gifts of Imperfection Art Journaling

Virtual Process Group

new group dates coming soon!

The Daring Way™

The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The method was designed for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders. It can be facilitated in clinical, educational, and professional settings.

During the process we explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. We examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding us back and we identify the new choices and practices that will move us toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead.

What is it?

This creative group walks us through Dr. Brene Brown’s book, Gifts of Imperfection which explores the link between vulnerability and courage. Members will take away increased awareness of where their shame lies along with practical strategies for fostering resilience in the face of adversity.

In This Art Journaling Group You Will:

Journal, Connect, Paint, Discuss topics of Vulnerability/Authenticity/Creativity, Move, Collaborate, Grow, Learn how to practice empathy with others, Play, Reflect, & Inspire each other

While we know this virtual group will not give us space to connect in person, you will be invited to get comfy and use your space in ways that invite you to engage in play and spark joy.

What is Art Journaling?

According to Dina Wakly; "Simply put, an art journal is a journal in which you combine art and words to express yourself. That’s it. It’s not complex, and there really aren’t any rules for art journaling. It’s all about self-expression."

Cancellation policy

What happens if the group is cancelled?

Although rare, the group may be cancelled or rescheduled if it doesn't meet the minimum registration. In this event, you will be contacted as soon as this decision has been made and we will refund 100% of all paid tickets. We will also notify you as soon as we get it rescheduled.

Something’s come up, I can’t make it to the group!

Due to the demands of our offerings, our offerings are non-refundable or exchangeable for any reason.  We take a lot of time to prepare for these offerings in advance.

Can someone else take my place if I can't attend?

In the event you have someone who would like to take the group in your place, let us know within 48 hours and we will happily honor them joining the group in your place unless otherwise stated by the group leaders, Vanessa, and Christie.

Because this is a virtual group, supplies will be shipped directly to the registered participant. It will be the responsibility of the registered participant to ensure that group supplies are mailed to the individual taking their place in the group.
