W-2 hybrid fully licensed Therapist position overview:
The Clinical Therapist will provide outpatient individual and group therapy to clients of Colors of Austin Counseling, PLLC virtually or in person with locations in the East Austin area. Clinical therapy services may include treatment of adults, children, adolescents, couples and families. We specialize in providing racial trauma-informed, culturally affirming therapy to people with marginalized identities and we work to reduce barriers to mental health services by providing high-quality clinical services to all. Our practice is multidisciplinary and offers a wide variety of services. We are open to applicants who practice from all different therapeutic backgrounds and are especially seeking clinicians who specialize in Play Therapy, Couples Therapy, Family Therapy, EMDR, and Somatic Experiencing. The Clinical Therapist must provide a minimum of 20 billable hours per week. The Clinical Therapist shall be responsible for maintaining all required licensure, education and supervision required by the Behavioral Health Executive Council. The Clinical Therapist shall report directly to the Clinical Lead.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform virtual and on-site clinical counseling services to clients of Colors of Austin Counseling, as scheduled.
Respond to scheduled client sessions made by the Client Care Coordinator within 24 business hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc. or through the Colors of Austin Counseling website.
Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such clients.
Attend monthly team meetings, monthly clinical consultation and bi-monthly professional development workshops as indicated
Collaborate with a client’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary.
Complete all clinical documentation within 24 hours of completed encounters. This includes, but is not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, client contact notes.
Ensure client files are accurate and up to date, including completion of any forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Colors of Austin Counseling or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the client within a timely fashion (by Friday of each week).
Ensure payment from clients for services provided are consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by the practice.
Understand and take an active, independent role in improving commitment to the community by networking with fellow clinicians, agencies and organizations in the community.
Perform and bill a minimum of 20 billable hours per week in addition to administrative duties as assigned.
Understand and follow all policies and procedures of Colors of Austin Counseling as a Clinician.
Complete a minimum of 1 Macro Level community initiative per year. Options of what can be considered are: blog posts, social media content creation, therapeutic support group, webinar, workshop, networking. Clinicians are welcome to identify other community initiatives meaningful to them to engage in.
Conduct and regulate job duties in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of Colors of Austin Counseling.
Be respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers.
Collaborate with the other members of leadership on improving overall client and employee experience.
Set professional goals and develop achievable timelines to hit them.
Other duties as they may be assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work; and
Active, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or LPC) in the State of Texas (must be fully licensed). Verification of license must be provided to Colors of Austin Counseling.
Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred
Requirement to be an approved in-network provider on at least one Colors of Austin Counseling-affiliated insurance panel. We are currently paneled with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow relevant office procedures surrounding HIPAA.
Possess an entrepreneurial spirit in becoming an established clinician in private practice
Valid driver’s license

Compensation:
$60,343 - $93,636 a year - Full-time
