A LITTLE ABOUT stephanie
As the Client Relations and Marketing Manager, I help to connect Colors of Austin Counseling with the community. When you reach out, I’m here to answer your questions and guide you through the process of finding a therapist that aligns with your needs.
I’m a therapist, too. My specialty is in couples therapy, specifically high conflict couples. I have received extensive training and direct experience with this population. I know how challenging the relationship has been by the time you get to therapy. I combine therapy and coaching to help couples break out of their cycle and create new, healthier ways of communicating.
My Background & Expertise
My educational background includes a B.A in Sociology and Mexican American and Latinx Studies from The University of Texas at Austin and M.Ed. in Counseling and Development from Lamar University. I have over 20 years of experience in various professional settings specializing in wellness, mental health services, strategic planning, compliance, and recruiting. In 2018, I began pursuing my passion for helping others work through challenging times and becoming part of a culture that values growth and well-being. I’m also an active volunteer with a community organization that works to remove barriers and make mental health care accessible.
