What happens if a workshop is cancelled?
Although rare, a group and/or workshop may be cancelled or rescheduled if it doesn't meet the minimum registration. In this event, you will be contacted as soon as this decision has been made and we will refund 100% of all paid tickets. We will also notify you as soon as we get it rescheduled.
Something’s come up, I can’t make it to the workshop!
Due to the demands of our groups and/or workshops, our groups and/or workshops are non-refundable or exchangeable for any reason. We take a lot of time to prepare for our groups and workshops! *Please note that we are not responsible for the reimbursement of your workshop/group supply fee.*
Can someone else take my place if I can't attend?
In the event you have someone who would like to take the group/workshop in your place, let us know within 48 hours and we will happily honor them taking the class in your place unless otherwise stated by the group/workshop leaders, Vanessa & Sarah. We will put aside your personal group and/or workshop materials for you to pick up anytime during our business hours for the following 2 weeks if you are unable to attend and unable to find someone to take the workshop or group in your place.
The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The method was designed for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders. It can be facilitated in clinical, educational, and professional settings. During the process we explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. We examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding us back and we identify the new choices and practices that will move us toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead.
